RHI: Fuel and Capacity Analysis

Last week we released the fourth annual WHA analysis of fuels used in RHI supported biomass systems. The analysis is based on Ofgem data obtained through FOI requests.

We have now received an updated dataset, which includes records for the new installations since the first (February 2015), second (October 2015), third analysis (July 2016), and fourth (June 2017), and it thereby shows the recent changes in the biomass heat market. The analysis also looks at capacity distribution in the market and which boilers are more likely to use which fuels.
